Since I had some left over cold grain rice, I made these bacon wrapped teriyaki rice balls yesterday. It was so good.

For a potluck party

I made a super easy cake for a potluck party two nights ago. Since I am not a good baker, I bought a cheap sponge cake and whipped cream and some ornaments. I just decorated the cake with them. It took about only ten minutes.

The plastic case is collapsible which is good to carry it after eating foods.


This is a makeshift Furoshiki, or a wrapping cloth which I made that night. I didn't have a big enough fabric, so I pieced together with the two fabrics. It turned out cute.

These are also super-easy mini cakes.

I bought a box of Rotte mini-sized Choco-pie , another company's mimi-sized ones, and some edible ornaments. I just decorated them. They tured out cute!

These are cup sushi which I made the other day.

I made sushi rice with Mitsukan Sushsii, or pink colored sushi mix powder.

Sponge cake + coating chocolate +

Although it is TOO early to make Valentine sweets, I made quick and easy Valentine sweets.
I couldn't take out these two pink chocolate from a rose-shaped silicone chocolate mould, so the shapes are a little ugly. I think I didn't enough to warm the chocolate, nor take them out carefully. Anyway, it turn out to be simple but gorgeous.(???)

Cheap christmas cake 2010,1

I am good at making cheap easy dishes and sweets sometimes. For this cake, I used a very cheap chiffon cake, so all I had to do was just decorated these ornaments and whipped cream on the cheap cake.LOL Please try to make some if you want.

The other day I wanted to make some fish tacos, but I couldn't buy flour tortillas in my town. First, I looked for some flour tortilla recipes on the net. That day I had some ground pork in the fridge and mashed potato flakes, and I was lazy to make flour tortillas from scratch. So, I changed mind and made super easy this dish. It was yummy.

Fresh herb pizza

I made two pizza with fresh herbs and cherry tomatoes from our garden.

This is a quick bread mix which was produced by Sachiko Murakami. It was 50 % off.It took only 30 seconds to leaven the dough with a microwave oven. Bench time was also short!
