The shape is becoming like a thisle flowerhead

We call thisles " Azami" , and artichokes "Chosen Azami",or just" artichoke" in Japanese. This artichoke flowerhead is becoming like a thistle's one. I cooked its bud just once. It tasted like edible lily bulbs. Then, I had decided to look rest of the flowers growing. One day , I found these purple petals coming out.It turned out cute.

This artichoke flower is flowering so slowly. However, the half of the flower is dying.

I realized that artichokes' edible parts were so little that I decided to see how they grew. They are growing little by little, and the petals are getting gross.???

Since Nastatiums are edible, I seeded some Nastatium seeds. Some of them are blooming , so I made salad and ate it. It was tangy , but yummy.
