cushion cover with waste pieces of cutting cloth

 I bought this right blue flannel long time ago. It's been in a closet for a long time. I made a cushion cover about one month ago. Then, I made this cushion cover  with the leftover fabric. I didn't think that I had enough fabric to make this one. Therefore, I barely pieced together the leftover fabric, and hided the pieced parts with cotton laces.

I didn't hide this stitch part. 

I made this cushion cover's cover with a white cotton called "sarashi". This is white , so I can bleach  it whenever I want.

Kinchaku 2013.5.12

Today is Mother's Day, but I had only made some sushi for my mother. I have to buy something for her....

It was cold outside, and I had nothing to do. So, I made two cotton kinchaku, or draw string bags this afternoon.

The second crocheted plastic bag

It was snowing outside, and I got bored. So, I made this bag. I cut several super markets's plastic bags, and tied. Then, I crocheted them. It turn out to be nicer than first one which I made the other day.

I don't think spring is coming soon, so....

I appliqued sakura,or cherry blossom printed fabric on the two white towels. After the earth quake, every japanese people became sad. Pink items and cherry blossoms make me happy.

Fabric lavel + draw string bag

I found a my homemade cookie iron printed fabric draw string bag which I had made some years ago,in a closet. I don't know why I had never used it before. Suddenly, I wanted to add a fabric level which my sister ordered and gave me last year.It turned out to be ???
Next time, I want to make more stylish things.

Fukin(dish towel)

Hahaha! I made another dish towel, and stitched some childish?pictures. I love to bleach any kinds of towels, so the stitches will fade away soon.

I have just made one cushion cover

Since it is not easy to use the fleece for me, I won't buy any fleece any more. I love cottons very much to sew, because it is very easy to use.

When I saw this fabric, I thought about a person. That day I did not buy this fleece, but I bought it today. I want to make cushion covers. I hope they will be warm and cozy.

This morning I knew that yesterday was Canada Day. I wonder how they cerebrate , and what they eat on that day. I will check it out later. Happy Canada Day!

My handmade book cover and fabric covered buttons
