I am sooo cheap that I rarely rent a new released rental DVD. However, I really want to rent a DVD of "The Karate kid". I went to two rental video shops today, but all of the DVD of "The Karate Kid" were already rented! I want to see it soon.

Charley and the Cholate factory and Desparate House Wives

I bought a book of Charley and the Chocolate factory from Amazon.jp. a few days ago. I think the book is not diffilcult to read for me , so I hope I can finish reading it soon.

Recently, I have rented some DVDs of some Amercan TV drama series, such as Desparate Housewives, House, Sisters and brothers and so on. I love comedies so much.

Lost In Translation

Since one of my on-line friends watched a movie,"Lost In Translation", and I haven't seen it before.So, I rented this DVD the other day. There are lots of Japanese conversations which were NOT Translated into English in the movie. I think that's why the movie's title is "Lost In Translation".Most Japanese actors and actresses spoke terrible English, which is too exaggerated. It's a movie , so it's OK. Some scenes are sarcastic, but they are true. I want to try to explain some scenes for her little by little.
My favorite TV CM is Boss Coffee,Tommy Lee Jones version. It's so sarcastic and hilalious. In a way, we are soooo embarrested. You can see Japanese people's bad habit and daily life in the CM.

Stand By Me

I have seen this movie long time ago. It wasn't too interesting for me at that time. Recently, I realized that Keefer Sutherland(maybe misspelling) was playing in the movie, so I rented it a couple of days ago. Then I watched it today,I recognized him this time. I watched it without subtitles, I couldn't understand 100%, but I really enjoyed watching it.LOL
