Since one of my on-line friends watched a movie,"Lost In Translation", and I haven't seen it before. So, I rented this DVD the other day. There are lots of Japanese conversations which were NOT Translated into English in the movie. I think that's why the movie's title is "Lost In Translation".Most Japanese actors and actresses spoke terrible English, which is too exaggerated. It's a movie , so it's OK. Some scenes are sarcastic, but they are true. I want to try to explain some scenes for her little by little.
My favorite TV CM is Boss Coffee,Tommy Lee Jones version. It's so sarcastic and hilalious. In a way, we are soooo embarrested. You can see Japanese people's bad habit and daily life in the CM.

Hi kuma, I travelled to Tokyo few years ago, I think Japanese is really kind and polite but not many Japanese can speak in English, so I think your english is quite pretty good!!! Besides, if I wanna visit Hokkaido, which season/month is the best time for travelling?
Siukwan, It's very kind of you to say so. I recommend summer, and autumn. If you don't have much snow, you should come to Hokkaido in February. The Sapporo Snow Festival is held in begining of Feb.Also, you can cruse in ice floes.
