Hello Kitty Halloween doughnuts

The other day, I went to next city to shopping and to do  some other things. Mr. Doughtnut, which is a doughnut shop's name,  sometimes sells seasonal doughnuts.This time they sells Hello Kitty Halloween doughnuts. If we buy a box of doughnuts, then we can get a  Hello Kitty stuffed toy as a promotion gift . I bought 2 boxes, and gave my neighbor.

These two  jack-O-lantern shaped doughnuts were very hard, and taste didn't too good. I won't but buy them next time.

This green bear shaped doughnut was a macha flavored . It was cute. I have a bear shaped cookie cutter, so I want to make similar ones next time.

This is a blue berry flavored Yaki-doughnut, or a baked doughnut. Recently, yaki-doughnuts are very popular in Japan due to being lower in calories than deep-fried ones.

Two of them were orange flavored and the green one was a macha and azuki-bean flavored. They were yummy.

I bought this Taiyaki machine from an on-line shop today. Then, my mother and I made some taiyaki.It was our first time to make them, but they turned out delicious and cute!We put some sweet Azuki bean paste inside the batter.

Although it is TOO early to make Valentine sweets, I made quick and easy Valentine sweets.
I couldn't take out these two pink chocolate from a rose-shaped silicone chocolate mould, so the shapes are a little ugly. I think I didn't enough to warm the chocolate, nor take them out carefully. Anyway, it turn out to be simple but gorgeous.(???)

The Karate Kid

The Karate kid's Japanese title is "Best kid",its Chinese title is "功夫小子", and American original title is The Karate kid.
The previous series were Karate movies, but this time it was Khufu movie.... I don't care about the title, though.
I decorated some cookies with chocolate pens and some other foods.
I wrote "加油”which is my favorite Chinese word ,on a cookie.
I could hear this word in the scene of the final tournament.

When I was younger I practiced a martial arts. Funny thing was that I wasn't interested in it at all. One of my friends wanted me to practice it with her, so I reluctantly started to practice it. I didn't to like to fight or compete with other people, but loved to sweat after exercising.
Since then I took to watch martial arts movies and action ones.

Jaden Smith was so flexible and cute! The actress who acted as his mother's smiling face was so gorgeous! The girl who played violin, was also cute!

I bought this second-hand video tape from Amazon.co.jp. I will watch it tonight.


This is a Japanese seasonal snack.There are two types of flavored cookies in the box.One is Sakura, or cherry blossom flaver, and the other one is daifuku mochi flaver.

Pumpkin pie without crust

We grew pumpkins this year, and got several ones. So, I made these tiny pumpkin pies without pie crusts. I used a recipe from Better Homes Gardens' cook book. Since our oven is not so big, and I couldn't get some ingredints , I arranged the recipe a little. However, it turned out to be good!

Thinkng about "Halloween", I have some Halloween ornaments, but I am not going to decorate them this year. It's because I am lazy???

Ingredients,

sugar...to taste

corn starch,or potato starch and water. mix them well and stir in a pot , or microwave a few minutes, and stir it, repeat for few times. That's it. It's very easy, and yummy.

Bear shaped cookie press

I bought this cookie press about some years ago, but I have never used it. I really love to collect some cooking gadgets. The bottom is round and its center is crown shaped press.
