Homemade soba, or buckwheat noodles

 I took a buckwheat noodle cooking class in the morning.. It was my first time to join the class. We kneaded the soba dough by hands. Our master brought soba tsuyu, or soba soup and a pink skin daikon. We ate cold soba, and hot soba for lunch. We ate grated wasabi, grated pink skin daikon and sliced green onion for  garnish. It was so good. I could take out the soba noodle which I made, so I cooked similar soba this evening. It was also good. I want to grow some pink skin daikon.

This is a yesterday's breakfast with the fresh black currants, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries from our garden.

I bought a star shaped cucumber mold and a hear shaped one two years ago.When  I saw them at a DIY shop, I thought star shaped cucumbers and heart ones were cute. Therefore, I bought the mold. I didn't use them in the past two years. The other morning, I saw some star shaped cucumbers and heart shaped ones on TV, they looked cute . So, I immediately tried to cover two cucumbers with the molds. 

I didn't care the cucumbers, after I put the molds on them. Today, I found them growing well. They turned out so CUTE!

Farm Tomita

Last Sunday, I went to Furano with my friends. We took a  cheap  and super busy packaged  one-day bus tour called " Dangan tour". Dangan means bullet, but this time it means super busy.  We ate lavender soft ice cream, it smelled good and so yummy.

Farm Tomita  is famous for a lavender garden..  It was not in full bloom that day, but it was still beautiful.

The garden staff were weeding or picking old petals there.

I bought these lavender cookies which contain a little bit lavender buds and  almond crunch. They didn't smell  like lavender. Nor, tasted lavender. I drunk a cup of lavender coffee.  It was dripped a few lavender buds and coffee beans.  I expected that it smelled like lavender, but it smelled like ordinary one.
