Artichoke seeds

I grew an artichoke plant in the past two years. It didn't come up last spring, I think it had died during the winter. I couldn't find artichoke plants this year, but I found artichoke seeds on the internet the other day. I bought a package of the seeds, I will grow them next year. I hope they will grow well. The seed company gave me flower seeds as a gift.

I bought 3 myoga plants this year. They didn't grow well, so I only got two myogas. I wonder if other countries' poeple eat them?

I love  at the time of autumn so much.  The air is so crisp, and it's so warm in the day time. I love the  autumn's  colorful scenery........
I love to collect fallen leaves to protect our garden's trees and plants, and to bury leaves to sofen the soil.

tempura soba

I took buckwheat noodle making class yesterday. I missed the class for two times, because I had to work. It was my second time to make soba, or buckwheat noodles. We learned kaeshi, or soba soup mix that day. The soba soup was delicious, so I want to make soba soup from scratch. I usually buy mentsuyu, and use it instead of soy souce. I made tempura soba for lunch, and made kashiwa soba, or chicken soba for dinner.They were both good!.

The first snow . Oct. 16th. in 2013

It snow some places and the suburb of my town on Oct. 16th. This was on someone's car roof, and it fell off on the ground. I think it's too early to have changed me snow tires, but I should!
