Getting shabbier..., but I couldn't throw away....

I made this reversible tote bag about two years ago. I used a cheap US flag printed bandanna for this side with cheap quilt batting. I sashiko stitched with some sashiko threads for the other side. I wanted to make a sashiko stitched dish towel for the other side, and it turned out cute. Then, I changed my mind, and I made this fabric tote bag. I used and washed this a lot, so it has become soooo worn out. I think you see lots of pilings from this side. I reversed this bag, and used the inside out. As I washed it, some color had come off, and became soo ugly. I wanted to throw this away, but changed my mind again. I made a big pocket with some leftover(? ) tiny piece of fabrics to hide for the most horrible parts. I sawed a very cheap bear shaped button. It turned out cute, or....just shabby-chic?(esque?)
